The LSP can be used on your homes electrical panel whether or not you have a Solar PV System with or with out battery backup. However it is definitely most beneficial when in use with Battery storage so you can easily see what circuts are being used, how much use each circuit is drawing and switching between circut as your needs change (each LSP can be hooked up to 12 single pull circuts or 6 double pull circuts.) You can also utilize more then one LSP unit per Electrical Panel if needed to cover more circuts. (typically seen on 400A or higher Electrical Panels or homes with multiple Electrical Panels.)
